    First time carrying in Vegas

Currently in Las Vegas for the week. First time carrying out of my home state.

I am so glad that they opened up the restrictions on Semi Autos, so I was able to bring both my steel and poly Baby Eagles for carry.

Getting cold enough now that I can carry both OWB and/or untucked IWB with a flannel or jacket.

Had to seriously tone down the SA to just keeping an eye on the wife and any cross traffic. Serious over input on the strip with the SA if you are not used to walking in large crowds - which I am not. Got nothing on the Wally World Walk.

Did not see any casinos/shops posted "No Guns", not that I was looking for any either. I did see one T-shirt that I thought that I would share with you all (no I did not buy it).

The airline aspect of it all was trouble free. Gotta figure out how I can go through security with my empty holster though. Found it extremely awkward to gear up once we got to our destination and could not check into our room for 7 hours. Got quite a few odd looks as I was walking through the lobby with my pistol case, holster and all to find a restroom (did not anticipate a HUGE handicap stall that I could have easily brought my suitcase into).

    Stick,
Last time I flew I wore my holster and mag pouch. No problems. Just retrieved my guns from my case in the parking lot and loaded up.

I just hate the NASCAR pit stop strip - metal detector/x-ray booth - then dress timed event.

I'll be following this. I fly to Vegas tomorrow, and was wondering where the off-limits areas are.

Off limit places are INSIDE airport buildings (parking structures/garages are hazy, better safe than sorry) Public buildings (gov't) and Education. North Las Vegas seems to be intent in flying in the face of State gun laws/Pre-emption and make up their own rules on the matter. Be careful downtown.

    When in doubt, Handgunlaws.us.com.
