Code names or Nicknames for your EDC?
Just curious if you have a code name or nickname for your EDC. My M&P is called now referred to as my "map" between my better half and I. That way if we ever have to say anything about it using the word "map" doesn't draw any attention and won't escalate a situation. Just curious if anyone else does this and what names you've given your guns.

My SR9c is Sara
And my wife's P238 is Lizzy.
We also have a Hi-Point we call Betty, but we can't trust her so she stays at home.

Springfield Armory XDM = XDM
Kahr PM9 = PM9
Walther P22 = P22
Beretta Neos = Neos
CZ Redhead Deluxe = CZ
Remington 870 = 870
Winchester Ranger = Winchester
Ruger 10/22 = 10/22
Disclaimer:
My opinion shouldn't be taken seriously due to the fact that I've been shooting guns for over 30 years and have only recently been active on gun forums, where all the real world knowledge apparently is.

The first handgun I buy will be named "Winonna" but not for the reason mentioned in the OP. It's because I'm a scifi nerd and that is what John Crichton from Farscape named his Pulse Pistol

I call it either "the Glock" or "the other Glock", depending on which one we are code-talking about.

Clacky, Clacyk2, Clacky3, etc. in order of the purchase date. They make a clack sound when fired so what other name is appropriate besides Clacky.
