    10 years of Concealed Carry

Just received my renewed Concealed Carry License, this marks 10 years that I have had mine and I am glad to say that I have not had to fire my weapon in self-defense. That does not mean that it has not been used as a deterent, I can recall at least 5 incidents that if I had not had my weapon things could have gone bad.

Congratulations! Any chance you could tell us a few of your stories?
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

Yeah, I'd love to hear some of the stories. You must be in a dangerous line of work.

I on the East side of Cleveland and go through some of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the country on a regular basis and have to say that in the past 20 years I have never even come close to having raise my voice anger, let alone 5 incidents where I would have had to be armed. I guess I'm lucky.

    Stay safe!

Congrats! Myself, I've been cc'ing for about 43 years and never fired my own gun due to a threat. I did fire my duty weapon several times while active LEO.

    Welcome and congratulations!

Freedom doesn't mean safe, it means free.

The thing about "defense" is that it has practically nothing to do with guns. (As passed on by CCW9MM)

According to the Brady Campaign statistics, by now you should have murdered everyone in your family and workplace. Twice.
