I haven't had the money to take a force on force class but from what I've been reading there have been instances of people forgetting to take the safety off of their air soft 1911s during FOF. The instructor states it's from the stress of having someone actually running at you and shooting at you with their own air soft and has seen it happen with people who have practiced with and used a 1911 or other manual safety for many years. I prefer to keep things simple so I carry pistols with no manual safety or a DA/SA decocked with the safety off.
Don't have one except for my finger and it's off trigger until I'm ready to fire
Why?? Because at the last second, the Police are minutes away.
I bought a new LC9 last month saftey has never been on![]()
