I would not worry so much about being "discovered" and I would not cover the
grip with the underwear,,,,, just makes it harder to get gun out if you need it.
No one sees or knows squat,,,, you will lose the feeling after awhile,,,, just
    stay alert to surroundings.

Keep one in the chamber and your underwear off the grip...you'll be good to go.

If not, I might add, you may just give yourself a giant wedgie when trying to defend against a serious threat...I'm just sayin'...

I'm pretty new to carrying myself & even after taking the all day CCW course I went with my brother for some more advanced training. You REALLY want this. Check this guy out: Practical Firearms Training - Pat Goodale Can't recommend highly enough! I did Handgun 1 this past fall & plan to do Handgun 2 this spring/fall.

It's been awhile, but didn't Hopalong Cassidy use the underwear grip on his revolver?

LOL! IWB with a loose shirt is generally more than sufficient to keep the masses oblivious. As long as you aren't constantly touching or adjusting the grip or your cover garment, it's not going to get noticed (except maybe by those of us who like to play the "spot the CCW" game.)

I know I asked a lot of silly questions when I was just starting out, but seriously...

I do this too. In a public bathroom it also helps to conceal the gun when your pants are down.

I would think that the high, squeaky voice would be a "tell" that somthin' aint right. You should be shopping for longer shirts. Dress right and an expert will have a hard time spotting it. Who would suspect a man in a Tux of carrying a Walther?

I will never live this down. That said, I am going to start wearing tuxes. Then again, I guess nobody here on this board will ever forget me. I do have long enough shirts, thankfully, since companies are finally making tall version of all the shirts I love.
