Let's see, 640 S&W, or somethine else to my fancy....depends on the mood and the clothing. Something new? Or something retired? But definitely load critical defense ammo.

Glock 17 with one or two spare mags, depending, a Strider EB/DB or DB-L, also depending (A replacement Strider SMF CC on the way so I have a quality folder again when fixed blades are a no-go), and a Surefire light.

Oh, and quite often an LMT 10.5" AR… ;)

.45 ACP Kimber Compact CDP II in a Milt Sparks VersaMax 2 IWB on a Milt Sparks leather belt. Two extra Wilson magazines in a Milt Sparks IWB dual pouch on the weak side. Spyderco Stretch CF knife clipped to back pocket. Surefire C2 Centurion with a replacement high-ouput LED.

For deeper cover or if clothing doesn't permit IWB carry, then the Compact CDP II goes into a SmartCarry with the two extra magazines.

Glock 17 or 26 in an Mtac holster. Spare mag. SOG Flash 2, Victorinox Swiss Army Knife, Zebra F-402 pen, Ray o Vac penlight, and a kubaton.

For super discreet carry it's a Taurus TCP738 in a pocket holster. Along with the other stuff.

My EDC gun is a Glock 19 carried in a Kramer OWB horsehide belt scabbard with one additional magazine in a Kramer pouch. If I need/want more concealement I will use one of my IWB rigs.
On those occassions when "I'm not carrying a gun" my carry gun is currently a Ruger LCR .38 special.

My wife's EDC gun is a Glock 26 carried in a FIST ultra-thin IWB holster with an additional magazine in a Comp Tac kydex pouch

I'm in hot as h*ll Florida and I mostly carry my sig p238 7+1 with a 7rd spare(fmj for penetration from a 380) and a folding blade along with wallet and keys. In winter when possible(when I can pull off a cover garment) I carry my RIA 5" 1911 tactical model with extra mag.
