Epic fail. First he ignores NYC anti-gun law then is stupid enough to leave three guns in plain view in his hotel room.

You can't fix stupid, but you sure can numb it up with a 2X4... And, thats what NY is best AT. Should I say more? It's just a shame.

Agreed, he was stupid. Probably more naive-uh-yea-stupid for not knowing the regs of the place he was at. Anyway now the NYPD has 3 more arrests to jack up their stats and say crime is down and the gun ban is working. What a bunch of bovine deposits.

These folks need to get their smart caps on.
One possible good outcome from all of this might be if one of them is able to get their case up to the SCOTUS for a decision as to whether or not NY laws are Constitutional. We could only hope that it would get a favorable ruling.
Maybe the fellow who left it in his hotel room would have the best chance, being he was renting the room and might have a case for it, as opposed to those who were carrying their guns around the city.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

I am sick of all the NYC bull crap. A legal gun owner in his home (hotel room) gets arrested for having a gun. Really?

I did not know you could not lawfully possess a gun in NYC. I knew you can't carry there. Wow, what a bunch of Commies. I will never go there. Hope lots of others feel the same.
There is the problem, they were not New Yorkers.The arrest follows two city gun busts of US citizens who had valid gun permits in their home states.

You can lawfully posess a gun in NYC with a permit. Every state has its own laws. It is up to responsible gun owners to know them for any state they enter.Originally Posted by oldnfat
