    Question for the ladies

I am certain this has been asked before, and answer well. If someone can please point me to that thread, I would be grateful.

I am a small female (5'2", 105 lbs) with very few places on me to hide things. Even my tiny Gerber knife shows if I'm not careful. It's not that I dress to expose myself; most of the time I'm in jeans and a fleece. My problem comes at work, or formal occasions. Women's dress clothes aren't exactly built to conceal, and there's not chance you'll catch me with a gun in my purse.

How can I conceal in dress clothes, or, even harder, in a skirt or dress? Suggestions that will not work include under arm holsters and bra holsters. I have a Ruger LCP.

Thank you all for your help!

May I suggest a 'small' 5.11 CC shirt in black? Worn under your fleece vest or jacket, depending on the firearm you carry would easily be concealed if you are...uh, shapely. It is indeed difficult to wear a typical IWB holster if you have a pronounced hip to waist ratio. My friend just can't wear one. She normally carries outside the waistband but under her belt.

Galco has a thigh holster for concealing under dress/skirts. It's on my list for my Bodyguard 380 (similar in size to yours). The only thing I wish it had is a thumb break or whatever you call it because I'm always afraid the gun will fall it if I start jitterbugging. I'll bet they could customize one to get that strap.
Stay safe. And, welcome to the forum!
PS-I'm with you on the purse carry.

if you wear dresses and skirts alot, get a inside the thigh rig that clips to a garter belt thingy of some kind. I would think that there would be some kind of small belt that you could wear under the hem of the skirt that has straps to hold the holster in place. I don't know that much about those, just a thought. Lima would know. I'm sure shes floating around here somewhere.
