    just got my permit.

i just got my CPL in washington state. i live in one of the highest rated crime areas(per cencus) in my state. yes tacoma. im in a "nicer" neighborhood. but i often travel through the rough parts of town. i bought my first pistol a month or so ago and was just granted my CPL. its a good feeling. makes me feel alot safer just to know i have that protection JUST IN CASE. i have been extensivley researching my gun rights and laws in washington.
im 21 years old and was born and raised around guns and strict gun saftey. my dad is a 25 year military veteran so thats where the strict comes in.
anyway just wanted to say hi. this seems like a really awesome forum.

Congrats on getting your CPL. Like Mark said, practice, practice, practice. Stay on top of your state's carry laws and be safe.

Congrat's on getting it - now up your practice schedules and above all - stay alert, avoid trouble, and carry responsibly.

    Congratulations!

It'll take a while before you're fully comfortable then, you'll feel naked without it!

Yes, Congrats! But you also might want to educate yourself on capitalization, spelling, and punctuation. It makes posts much easier to read.
