I'm not sure if the first Concealed Carry is referred to as Nacho here but still. LOL I received my CCL yesterday and chose to do errands while carrying, going to conveince stores and such that to frequent all the time. Tonight, my dog needed food and I did the Nacho run! LOL
No one noticed anything that I saw. My dog was waiting for me at the end of it and she acted like I'd been gone forever.
I did enjoy knowing that if the SHTF that I'd pull my G23 but I kept hoping I wouldn't have to. That's just my faith in humanity working but life has taught me otherwise.
What's a "Nacho" run?
Always remember: 3 can keep a secret, if 2 are dead!
The only thing I ordered on my first CCW trip to Wal-Mart was a Double Quarter Pounder With Cheese and a Large Coke, because Anchorage's Wal-Marts have Mcdonalds.
Wes, on many forums the Nacho Run is the name of the fist outing after obtaining CHL. I think because Wal-Mart is 24 hr, & Nacho's are cheap & you can always eat a few.
Carry 24-7 or guess right.

their nachos are both cheap and overpriced!
Six for sure...Uh, I mean Five. Five for sure..
Ive never heard of the term, myself .Ironicaly, I did stop into Wallmart! For what I dont know? I just remember being bumed, about having a new "Concealed Firearms Permit". Then having to leave it and, my Glock home. I had two be at class in two hours !It's a tradition that for your first time out carrying that you go to Walmart, walk around a bit, and order nachos at their food "restaurant".
One thing is for sure. There is no way, would I ever eat in their. "Fast Food area" .
My Ex. GF, used to work for Target. She Was a "Cash Sup." Who sometimes had to work in the "Fast Food" area :scary:.
I would sooner eat raw tree bark, than that Toxic mess!
Now you wonder what all the fuss was about....

Way to go TNOkie.
Yes, that Wally World for nachos thing is big over at Glock Talk forum.
Now, did you order your CCW badge like the real mall ninjas carry...heh.
I didn't go to Wal-mart the first day. I've apparently missed out on something. I did, on the other hand, go to a coffee house whose greatest portion of employees and customers are anti-war, ant-firearms types. I got spotted by a Vietnam vet I know who's comment was, "Nice weapon." I've since learned to conceal better.
the term nacho run came from another pro carry web site, like a right of passage. most persons that carry for the first time are very self conceses of them self's, who knows there carrying, are they printing, who knows and are they pointing a finger at me. so you go to wally world walk around a bit and see no one is screaming man or woman with a gun. you go to the food court order a soda pop and nacho's and relax
LOL..I always wondered what in the heck the whole "nachos" thing was about. Now I know, learn something new everyday
