    About a week away for me in Ohio!

    Me, my wife and both my parents took the 12 hr course Sat. with a Putnam Co. Sgt. Let me say this guy was top notch! Great class, great information, made the woman get a better understanding with weapons and shooting in general. Yesterday we met with Henry Co. Detective for about an hour to apply for our permits. He said they should be done by next Friday. Whoo Hoo! :)

    Great to hear that Putnam County moves the process along quickly. Not all Ohio counties are known for that.

    Congrats and welcome to the world of concealed carry! Took my wife and I considerably longer to get our permits a few years ago! There was quit a backlog then!

    Most of the counties down here turn around pretty quick these days, some within a week or two.

    The problem counties seem to be up in the NE part of the state for the most part.

    Well the sheriffs office called tonight around 6:30 and said my permit was in the system and ready to be picked up. We took a little road trip at 6:45! Now I'm officially legal! :)
