Not even in my wallet. I carry a small ID Folder in my shirt pocket so my hands always stay in sight. It flips open and shows my DL and CCW.

AZ being a "No Need To Inform" state I figure that is all we need to get an intelligent conversation going. Might be the reason the only thing I have gotten in the in the last 26 years was a warning.

    Theory behind this:

    1. Nobody sees my DL or other personal information when my wallet is open.

    2. If a BG/social parasite/loser has the drop on me and opened the wallet that I've tossed to him, I tell him they are my heros - then have the chance to draw and put a bullet in him while he is being overwhelmed with warm/fuzzy feelings at the sight of his gods.

    3. If it's a cop who's stopped me for any reason, I tell him/her it's my instant humor inspiration to see the pres kissing a pig - puts them in a lot better mood when I retrieve my DL and CCL behind the picture
Wow, I have never seen an ass kiss a pig before.

I scotch taped my ccw to the grip of my Kimber so I never forget it when I carry.

Honestly, from my experience almost nobody knows what the permit looks like unless they have one (at least in Wisconsin). It's not really anything you need to keep hidden from employees at gas stations/liquor stores, I think putting it behind your DL is almost worse, you pull out your driver license a lot more than you do you permit so having them rubbing together isn't the greatest idea. My hunters ed card is almost completely unreadable now, the last thing you want is for that to happen to your permit. Not trying to change anyone's minds, just something to consider.

I put my CCDW in a different compartment than my DL. I'm only 21 so I still get carded about 50% of the time for bars (obviously, I do NOT carry at bars- it's illegal here) and liquor stores. I just would rather not have a tense moment at a bar if a bouncer should see my permit and inquire as to whether or not I'm armed and at a liquor store it's just none of their business.

Mine is in plain view also, in front of my NRA card. Both can be seen very clearly when I open my wallet.

Mine is sandwiched between my DL and my Dollywood season pass. That's a powerful trio of identification!

My CCW is beneath/behind my DL, in a separate sleeve.

After accidentally pulling out my CCW along with my DL once, I buried it behind my other "credentials" that I have to carry.

I put it out of sight. If I am ever asked to present it, I can pull it out in 2 seconds no problem. However, I don't want to cause anyone alarm by flashing it when I'm buying a beer. I don't tell the whole world that I carry.
