Hello all I have a question about carry in Texas, my buddy and I are licensed and were carrying into a Big R store and on the door a sign, out of copy paper stated that "all persons entering store must proceed to service desk where firearm will be checked and you will be escorted through store"! I thought that they could choose not post a sign thus allowing carry...or a post a sign (correct signage as per law) restricting carry. Do they have a right to make me unholster my weapon in front of the public and do whatever they do to "check" it, then escort me around the store? The laws state that sign must have 1" letters contrasting to the background and be in English and spanish posted at all entrances... If i ignore it because it doesn't meet requirements and walk in anyway then am I wrong?
