We've been back in our home town for 2 weeks now. Still seeing more people open carrying than any other place I've ever lived, and loving it. I have OC'ed several times.
However, I have also carried concealed many times as well. Since leaving TN to move to Indiana I switched my EDC gun from the Glock 23 to a Kahr CW9 with a Theis IWB which is the most comfortable holster I have ever owned. Wednesday, I went into the Subway in town for lunch and amazingly, the manager there recognized me and remembered what my usual sandwich is for 2 years ago. I got my usual and sat down and he came out and talked to me for a few minutes. Asked where I'd been and things like that. Then he asked the big question. He leaned in a little and asked if I still carried (he does as well) and when I said yes he asked why I wasn't open carrying that day. I told him about the new gun and holster set up and he said he would have to check the holster out on line and told me he was glad we are back and glad to have another armed customer back regularly.
It is so darn good to be back in Tennessee.
Glad to hear things are as you remember them. Seems like often when you try to go back, you find things either aren't as you remembered, or have changed while you were gone.

Impress your friends when the manager of the restaurant knows your name, your usual, and your intimate details. All after two years. That's just icing on the cake! Keep TN safe.

Glad you are settling in!

Wow. That was a great experience. Time to get another gun so you can OC again.
Usually...there's no place like home! (I only say that because I'm from DaTwa!)
Glad things are looking up...

What, no comment about how much you miss Indiana and their great gun laws! Glad you're back home, Mike.
