Seems to be more up-to-date than PDO. I'm not sure I trust PDO anymore, anyhow, considering the owner/operater seems to have left the ship empty at the helm.

It does seem handgunlaw is becoming the definitive other option - the most important aspect being not only access but - Gary is trying to keep things as up to date as possible.

State websites like police, AG all the other sites find it out this way or call the police station or public safety office.

    Now this is scary.
i have reciprocity with some states per 'packing" and the list differs from the 'handgunlaw' website.
    interesting....to say the least!

fortunately they are states i probably wouldn't frequent as they are sooo far away but still

Try this: http://www.handgunlaw.us/. I, too, like packing.org for use as a reference. If the past is any guide, it'll be back up soon.

I used PDO too until one day I went there and it was gone. I know that it has had some trouble lately, but since it was gone, I found this site!

Handgunlaw.us is the premier source for CCW info in one spot and is up to date. Packing.org is not up to date. The reason I know is I was the person who kept much of Packing.org up to date till last October. Since then most of the site has not been updated especially the reciprocity changes.

On Handgunlaw.us you will find all the info you need but most of all you will also find links to all the official state sites. Just click on All US CCW Links in the left column and the map that appears is hot linked to all the different states official sites. If you have any questions about the site just click on "Contact Us" At the bottom of any page and you will send me an email that I will answer ASAP.

I would have to agree. For all the info, and being current, handgunlaw.us is now the definitive site.

I refer to it often and appreciate it's accuracy.

A lot of people have made state pages, such as www.missouricarry.com . There may be one for you.

For New Mexico, http://handgunlaw.us now sends the user to the New Mexico Department Of Public Safety Site which I find difficult to find any reasonable information equivalent to the packing.org site. Not really helping me there.

I agree. http://www.packing.org/ which is back up right this minute, is much easier to navigate. Hopefully they can get their hash settled there, maybe by eliminating postings, and get on with the business of providing easy-to- access accurate information for the benefit of all. How about it, Mr. Slider?
