Wife: He just dropped it on the floor
Me: OOPS, BAD BAD
Wife: I know the he was real fast at picking it up, It fell out of his coat when he was taking it off
Me: Ya - should say to him "Better think about a retention system for that!"
Wife: Nope. I will leave that for you

Just her way of saying "I am not going to say or do that" If I suggest an action that she doesn't like, she "leaves it up to me" to do.

Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
