"No retreat, no surrender." King Leonidas in "300".

This is my 300th post. Being a member of this forum has been a great experience so far and I've learned a lot from many different people. I want to thank the administrators and others associated with Defensive Carry. This is a great site and a super forum!

I chose the quote to be provocative, because in many cases, retreat is the best strategy. However, since Texas has a castle doctrine and we are not obligated to retreat, the quote can be applied to a situation where someone invades my home. I am not going to retreat and I am not going to surrender. I will defend myself, my family and my home.

Looking forward to the next 300 posts and beyond!

Someone here on the forum has a signature line that basically reads something like this. "It's easier to avoid a fight than it is to survive one."

First, my disclaimer........... I am not an attorney and not an expert on the law in Texas, etc., etc., etc.,

I believe the Castle Doctrine also applies to people inside their automobiles and place of business.

    Peace............

    You^^^^^are gonna make me^^^^

wanna go sit in the corner and shut my trap, cause I haven't been here 3 years and I've got 4244.

This site is a wealth of knowledge, with very good people, who for the most part are rather mindful of the "other guy", and the mods and site administrators seem to keep things running very well, and weed out the wiseacres, and troublemakers.
