Michigan Signs?
I've searched the internet and can't seem to find a good answer on this. In Michigan, do "gun buster" signs have any legal bearing? I know that if I am asked by a person to leave I must or I face trespass, but what about just a sign?
Thanks for the help!

This was addressed here just recently but you have to check and see if there is a state regs on size and or color and if there is not then any sign will do and yes then it holds weight. Wither you obey that sign is up to you

Michigan has no "official" sign size, wording or color, font, etc. If you are in an area that is posted and someone finds out, they can ask you to leave. If you fail to comply you can be charged with trespass. The predefined gun free zones however, I believe you would already have committed an illegal act by entering those areas concealed. Those include schools, hospitals, casinos, bars that are more than 50% sales of alcohol. These areas do allow open carry if you have a CPL, but most likely your would immediately be asked to leave, putting you back to square one.
There is a bill in the state legislature that is attempting to allow concealed carry in the gun free zones provided you take an additional training class.

From handgunlaw.us
Do “No Gun Signs” Have the Force of Law?
“NO”“Handgunlaw.us highly recommends that you not enter a place that is posted "No Firearms" no matter what the state laws read/mean on signage. We recommend you print out the No Guns = No Money Cards and give one to the owner of the establishment that has the signage." As responsible gun owners and upholders of the 2nd Amendment we should also honor the rights of property owners to control their own property even if we disagree with them.”
“No Firearm” signs in Michigan have no force of law unless they are posted on property that is specifically mentioned in State Law as being off limits to those with a Permit/License to Carry. If you are in a place not specifically mentioned in the law that is posted and they ask you to leave, you must leave. If you refuse to leave then you are breaking the law and can be charged. Even if the property is not posted and you are asked to leave you must leave. Always be aware of the possibility that responding Police Officers who may have been called without your knowledge and may not know the laws on trespass etc. could arrest you even if you are within the law.
Americans understood the right of self-preservation as permitting a citizen to repel force by force
when the intervention of society... may be too late to prevent an injury.
