Supermoon Tonight - Zombie Gun Deployed!

It must be the Supermoon that's coming out tonight - the unfortunately close bad parts of town have been reveling and stirring all day. Even had a boom-boom car parade go by the house... Been seeing many people I've never seen before walking around.

That said, the Zombie Gun is locked and loaded with two spare mags in case the unheeled masses decide to get too stupid...

My Zombie Gun is a modified SKS: adjustable polymer stock, 4x scope, flash suppressor and high capacity magazines [one 30 rd and two 20 rd].

    That's my 12 year-old, ready for duty!

Might as well hand out chocolate tonight. That should suppress any would be uprising mobs. Then again....it's Cinco De Mayo....so you may want to have a dozen chickens in your yard to thwart off evil or (illegal) spirits. Put that SKS away before you hurt somebody.

Stay away from the bars. You should be OK. Full moons do bring out the crazy in people, and this is a whopper of a full moon!

One of the reasons I have heard from medical men that people get a little more "goofy" during a full moon is because a full moon can even effect the water in a glass and our bodies are in a large part liquid. That is were the word Lunatic came from. I also read that this "super moon" will have more of a effect on the tides and other water than a usual full moon. Hubby and daughter are working EMS tonight. I wish them luck, but won't say anything to them, because if I do and they run all night I will hear, "You jinxed us". No thank you.

Moon looks amazing but I wish I could see the meteor shower....

Super Full moon - I'm more worried about werewolves than zombies.

Got enough silver bullets on hand?

I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.

Your kid looks darn good holding that rifle. Sure beats the heck out of the Plain Jane .22 that I got to mess with at age 12.

In a survey done 9 out of 10 werewolves said they preferred Coor's light over Bud light. Just goes to show they aren't as dumb as people think!

My wife and our larvi hit the beach last night to watch the 'supermoon' rise over the ocean. They said it was a bright, beautiful sight. They all went swimming all afternoon then set up the big telescope to view it full bore as night fell. My youngest is BIG into astromony right now so this was a special treat for him. All had wonderful time and no zombies or werewolves........ guess they stayed in the bars where the 'Silver Bullets' were 'flowing'.

It was too cloudy and rainy way out here behind the wire for me to have seen anything. Darnit!

Loaded up an extra mag of 9mm Zombie Max, just in case. Lucky for them no Zombies were sighted.
