I carry the same setup all year, I don't like the idea of changing my carry guns unless I get a new one.
One or more of the following generally apply:
- S&W Shield on the waist
- S&W 642 on the ankle
- Taurus 738 in the pocket

My opinion shouldn't be taken seriously due to the fact that I've been shooting guns for over 30 years and have only recently been active on gun forums, where all the real world knowledge apparently is.

I don't change guns for temp or season. Darn sure don't change brands. One trigger pull type and grip angle.

Same carry gun all year around for consistency of trigger, etc. Tucked IWB for all occasions except at home and for yard work there.

The other day it was 90 degrees outside. My wife said "why do you have on two t-shirts?" I said "because my gun digs into my skin if I don't". She said "how can you stand that", I said "being a little hotter than normal is worth it to protect you and the kids". 1911 IWB all year long.
Besides, when it gets hot down here, you will be just as hot naked as with clothes on.

I always carry a Springfield XD 45 compact. Occasionally if I am just running to the corner store in our sleepy mountain town, I'll throw a .38 spl Ruger LCR revolver in my pocket.

XD 9 Service model all year IWB with crossbreed supertuck. Wear shorts and T-shirts in the summer. No issues.

I carry my 1911 in 45 or my sig 226 in 9mm during the fall winter and spring then during the summer I carry a colt pocket lite mustang in 380.
