My New Sig P220 Elite Stainless! Look! :
Here's my new Sig P220 Elite Stainless (45ACP) - and my first Sig.
Some pix, stock ones- haven't had time to take my own but my gun is exactly the same.

You can see before it's out of the case it's very well made - all steel, the finish (matte), even and well done. Standard on mine is the large beaver-tail, very nice both to find the top of the hilt fast and also to make hammer-bite impossible, front serrations, adjustable night sights -(both front and back adjustable), and SRT trigger (short reset), front strap checkering and the rosewood grips - the latter not standard on other Elites.
Haven't shot it but once, and that more to learn the gun than give it a full test, but even at Self-Defense distances (this will be a Carry for me) I can tell it's very accurate, and though not out more than 15', could hit a small red dot about 1/2" diameter without a lot of effort. The trigger both in DA and SA is smooth as warm butter, and they both break like glass. Can't think of any gun I've shot with a better trigger - except my Python in the revolver category. But no semi-auto.
So, I like the gun a lot though I've had it but 3 days. It's about same weight as full-size steel 1911, hair less, but it's much wider. But the Alessi holster I bought, and OWB seems to handle it well, and I wear Perry's Suspenders with a heavy gun, which also help a lot.
That's it for now I think.
Even if you don't like it lie and say you do. It cost too much for the truth.

No doubt about it, I like it. I've had my eye on that very same gun for quite a while. Good looking/great shooter.
I haven't bought one for myself yet for two reasons. (1)I've got plenty big hands and that is a lot of gun for me to get a grip on, and (2)it is a big/heavy gun and would be somewhat a challenge for me to conceal.
However I still like it a lot and I believe you've re-ignited my interest. Go ahead and add some pictures, and do a little range report, I'm sure that'll push me over the top and I'll finally order one for myself. I can always tell my wife it's "your fault". She mentioned long ago that she completely understands the name "Sig Sauer" in that Sauer (sour) is the face the wife makes whenever she see's a new one. Actually she's a good sport about it. Congratulations on your 220 Elite.

Beautiful gun. I'm sure she'll bring you many hours of enjoyment at the range, and be comforting on your hip.

1,109 WOWs........ Very nice!
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Drooling. The Elite Dark and the Combat models have been calling my name, but the stainless sure is purty.
Nice price, btw.

FROM OP:
That's funny about "sour"
I am 64, skinny, thin hands etc and I can shoot it with no problem at all. It's well balanced, holds real well in the hands, wood has matte area and so does front strap so it's easy to get a good grip and control the gun. The recoil for a 45 is quite light.
I conceal it with an Alessi OWB holster. I use also Perry Suspenders which just clip on the belt, put the name in Google Search, they take half the weight off the gun. Lastly, I have a sharkskin belt which has great hold on a gun. I conceal it under an open vest. It works OK, just hitch the gun up to where the waste really is: little beneath the belly button to keep the bottom of the holster from showing. (Even if it does, the vest is black as is the holster, without knowing it's a gun, no one looks at a a bit of leather peeking under your vest. Doesn't read a gun, maybe end of a pouch. No one cares or sees it. But you can conceal it completely by using your "real" waist.)

Very nice! I have a 220 Carry Elite Dark myself and it is one heck of a shooter.
