"Concealed carry" legislation a danger to public safety", where have I heard this before? Maybe every state that has tried to enact "shall issue". They forgot the good old blood will run in the streets and some reference to the OK Corral, I'm disapointed.
How can they continue with this crap when state after state has proven them to be wrong? Oh well, all I can say is good luck NY.

True, upstate NY is a different country then NYC.
The bad/sad thing is that NYC runs the state. Even if you got every NY'er that didn't live in NYC or the suburbs of to vote for a pro-gunner the sheer mass of flesh that resides in the City would still swing the vote in favor of the anti's.
Shame really, upper NY is a beatiful place.

Well, that seems to be a matter of opinion. My opinion is exactly opposite.

Yikes! Then, I guess criminals don't carry in these states.
I thought we would never get CCW, Kansas Governor vetoed it every year. Barely got it this last time. I have been waiting for 20 years.

The reason is....we have a bunch of royal slackers for gun owners in NYS!
Wake up...do you part NYers. There are way too few carrying the torch for other gun owners in NYS. We need to collectively band together. We certainly have a lot of gun owners...why don't they all belong to the NRA and NYSRPA?
Why don't they write, call and email their elected officials?
And why the heck do they vote these idiots in?
I'm proud be a gun owning upstate NYer who does his part...come on NY...do yours before we become just like NJ and California!!!
