If it is not in the US Constitution then the Federal Government should not be doing it.

Congrats. Kansas just adopted the CCH law in April and opened classes as of late-July. I took my class around 1 August. It will be January before I see my permit.

If loose gun laws are good for criminals why do criminals support gun control?

By the time I got my permit I wasn't even that psyched about being able to carry anymore. I spent so much time thinking about when it would come. Ahhh...Texas. lol. The next step was getting used to having it on me, and not feeling like everyone else knew. That took a few months. I wasn't sure about how I felt carrying into my job. I felt like I was breaking the law or something. (Social training). I've had mine a year and some months now. I carry everywhere. EVERYWHERE. I feel weird without it. Murphy's law says I'll need it if I don't have it. This still is the wild west. Anyone who tells you different hasn't been shot at over words.
The Problem: When stupid people do stupid things, smart people end up getting killed.
Congrats!! How did it go for you at WW???

Gun control is hitting what you aim at
Kudos! Carry well, respect the law, and stay safe!
Walk steathly - and carry a big Springfield.
Its funny. I carry daily with my creds and finally decided to back them up with a CCL (from Texas). Applying under a LEO program (to save a ton of money) it took me almost 90 days to get my license. The returned it twice because they doubted my citizenship (as I was born overseas to American Citizens). Not only did they no realize that to be a fed you have to be a citizen and I sent them the State Department forms proving my status they still took their time.
When I got off work, I went to Wal-Mart for some stuff then after checking the mail and receiving my license I went back to Wal-Mart just to keep the legend alive, LOL. Dont ask me why bucause I dont know.
Congrats on your license and I'm glad Kansas is finally waking up.
Stay safe.
