    HB111 which allows concealed carry in restaurants that serve alcohol is in committee and "should" be coming up in the short session for a vote in judiciary II so you may want to call and write your reps to get it rolling.

    Become a member of Grass Roots North Carolina and you will be kept up to date with legislation etc. They are our state level organization and they do a really good job.

    The Senate Judiciary Committee is also considering HB 489, which overlooks Bateman v. Perdue and tries to place new restrictions on firearms during a "state of emergency." GRNC article below provides a link through which you can contact the committee members and urge them to table HB 489.
