I don't even get it. Guess I'm too moderate.

    Too true to be funny!

I'm just one root in a grassroots organization. No one should assume that I speak for the VCDL.

I am neither an attorney-at-law nor I do play one on television or on the internet. No one should assumes my opinion is legal advice.

We are lucky, even our Orlando Slantinel carries Mallard.

One of my papers had Mallard as a regular feature. It's about the most conservative syndicated comic out there in this country I think, so this type of thing is common.

The description on wikipedia sums it up nicely:
"Mallard yearns for the "good old days," and views himself as a victimized underdog in a world that is being overrun with political correctness, religious secularism, and hypocrisy. He is often in a state of outrage over the news item of the day, usually involving liberals."

The T-Rex is pretty much telling the Triceratops that he shouldn't even consider fighting him (the T-Rex) for his life, because if he were to successfully defend himself the media would tear him to shreds anyways. Man, that T-Rex was just trying to turn his life around...he was such a nice young dinosaur.

If you folks like conservative comics, I highly recommend Day By Day by Chris Muir... I can't start my day without it!

"Too moderate" isn't that an oxymoron?

I'm more amazed that it's in the Seattle PI than anything... they're about the last place I'd expect to see any pro-self-defense, well anything.

Exactly what I was thinking. Not too many people in Seattle that either wouldn't understand how tragic it is, or would say that it is unfair for the triceratops to have the advantage of horns to defend himself with, the T-rex is just trying to survive too.

Nah... "why do you need horns? Let's just ban sharp teeth"
