What do you expect from a state like Ohio that has a track record for trampling law abiding citizens rights? If I remember correctly, some SWAT team of sorts became quite "famous" for storming the wrong house with a no-knock warrant and terrifying the occupants.

The city itself is not. Nor are the politicians that run it generally. There are some exceptions. Hamilton county as a whole is rather conservative. And the greater Cincinnati Area (maybe a 30 mile radius North of the River) is generally rather conservative too.
But, the actual city, not so much.
