Arizona permit arrived today!

Just an FYI, my permit from Arizona arrived today. I used my Illinois Hunter Safety course as my training and they accepted it. So to all of my Illinoisians, you can carry in Wisconsin with your Arizona permit and all other surrounding states with the Florida permit.

The AZ permit covers all the same surrounding states.

I am confused. You live in IL, but sent off for an AZ permit. Now you are valid in WI, which is just above you. If you go to any other neighboring states (from IL), then you have to send off for a FL permit? Even though, both AZ and FL are pretty far from IL? Isn't IL itself a non issue state? I would have to look.

That is just too messy for this guy. I have an ID permit and is pretty much good wherever I am going to go. Except my leftist states to the left (WA,OR,CA) that should just float off into their own country near Hawaii.

Congrats! However, if you would vote the politicians you have in office out, you could change your laws and possibly get your own permit system instituted.

How long did the processing take- when did you send in the application?

Congrats! Today marks 7 weeks since I filed my application in Colorado. Still waiting for mine.

I should have thought of that:). Believe me I vote and promote pro-carry politcians all the time, but Illinois is run by Chicago and they as you know are totally anti-gun.

Actually I thnk my Arizona permit is accepted in all neighboring states, but so is my Florida and then Wisconsin wouldnt accept Florida soooooo. i know I wish i had your luck but I can only dream some day:)

I just got my AZ permit on the 13th as well. Mailed it off April 26th.
