Current wait time for new permits in South Carolina?

It'd of probably taken close to 100 days anyways, so now I guess you can expect 110 days of waiting. Things seem to move pretty slow here.

Forgot to update this thread with a result. Wife's came at just about 100 days. Looks like that is the wait time now days.

That's a God Awful delay! They've sent mine off in the mail after a month and I was going bonkers with the calls and checking. Mine is coming from Florida.

I'd imagine if would be worse out there with no Constiutional Carry. You'd have to freeze your intentions till it came. Here, you do the normal gun totting routine regardless.

Received my South Carolina CWP today from SLED. From the time it was received in Columbia, SC until it was issued and I received it was a total of 98 days!

It had an "issue date" of August 7, and arrived in my mailbox today, August 11.

Also, just for info, the wait time DID include two (2) holidays.....Memorial Day and July 4......so I guess all in all anything less than 100 days is a plus!

I just got my NRA Instructors Cert in & it took 5wks & monday I have to call SLED for my CWP Instructors app & info. Boy I hope the wait on a SC trainers cert is not that long!

I got mine in about 85 days. My wife's came 2 weeks later.

97 days. From June 1st, issued Aug 30, arrived yesterday. :D
