I received mine in about 85 days last Septmber-ish. And I know someone who is rapidly approaching the 90 day time limit.

I'm hearing 90 days, bank on it! My paperwork went in two weeks ago. Buddy across the street, got his on the 90th day about 10 months ago.

im a SC instructor. students usualy call me when there permits come in. lately its been 80+ days. had one that was 96 days.

SC is backed up big time! I just completed my instructors training & waiting as well, I had 3 in my church to go through the CWP & 2 other friends & it was 80+ days so it's in process! SLED said they have one ID unit at the DMV that prints all the ID's & it went down for a few weeks & it's up & pumping them out now!

Any answer you get will only get you more frustrated. Relax and take a deep breath. As long as you get it before the the coming Nov election, you are OK.

I just got mine, as well as my daughter's and wife's, back in May. It took around 95 days.

My wife's is at about 95 days out from arrival at SLED now. Still waiting. Heard a few others also in same boat. Sounds like everyone else is experiencing the same.

My father's took 87 days, mine took maybe 98... his wait time just stands out more since he bitched about it not being in the mail every day after the first week of sending it in.

I submitted my information March 26. I called and found out my permit was issued June 29. I have yet to receive it and called again to inquire yesterday, July 10.
The not-so-nice lady said they would not reissue until 15 business days had passed, and that 10 days is not excessive for the mail. I did not ask for them to reissue anything, just wanting to make sure it had actually left the last desk it was sitting on. I was a little upset with her response considering Columbia is only a 1 hour drive from me.
For the others waiting, in a phone call 2 weeks ago, I found out that there were problems around April with the fingerprint system that delayed processing of a great many applications.

It took mine 93 days. Don't expect it before the 90 day mark.

My first one took excatly 90 days, my second one ( had let my old one expire so I had to go though eveything again) took only three weeks. My last renwal took about two months.

I'm about a month in. Full 90 days would be September 12th. Hoping for less;)
