It's an ATF guy; the bullet would just pass through harmlessly anyway... (no offense to any ATF guys on the forum!!)

I hope that the picture is a joke. Sadly, I suspect that it is not.

a pair of idiots...not just the instructor, how about the photographer?
His picnic basket is also missing a few a few crackers!
    Obviously, this is 'joke photography'.

I have to admit - I do not find much humor in shots like this, however contrived.

There are rules #2 and 3 totally slammed Just not funny - or is it just cranky old me!

He might not even be a ATF agent. I can get that hat at my local army/navy store. If the idiot in question is in fact a ATF agent, Im not suprised at the pic either.

    Chris,

    Sure didn't mean to offend....

I have no idea if the photo is contrived or not, I saw it over on the S&W board. It just caught my attention because it is just so.... wrong.

    Stuff like this does happen.

After putting out a car fire I found a loaded revolver in the glove box while looking for owner info.
The LEO I gave it to and told it was loaded couldn't figure out how to get the cylinder to open so he looked down the barrel! He was a younger guy probably never even fired a revolver before.
