I haven't seen any blow ups at the range, but I have seen guns fall apart. One was a Lorcin .380, the other was a Hi Point. Both had the slides fly off of the frame during firing. No injuries. Remarkably, I hear decent reviews of Hi Points now, but this was over 20 years ago.

Hey now! The .40 is the definition of the wussy round. It's entire reason for being was that feds were using 10mm, and some agents were not able to shoot it. The .40 was developed for wussy agents. It's a shortened 10mm! So, do you shoot a 10mm short because you ain't man enough for a10mm? :D
