My opinion shouldn't be taken seriously due to the fact that I've been shooting guns for over 30 years and have only recently been active on gun forums, where all the real world knowledge apparently is.
Better for you or better for me?
Generalities aren't going to get you very far. What, specifically, are you interested in?
"Mind own business"
"Always cut cards"
Didn't you hear? Beretta bought Glock. They are now equals.

Sounds suspiciously like a caliber war. Whichever works best for you!
Regardless of personal likes and dislikes which you will find in abundance here, as well as strongly held beliefs, you've asked the proverbial "which is better" a "Ford or a Chevy".
Your answers won't be very useable unless you ask specific questions to illicit information you need in your decision making process.
Probably the best way to answer the questions for yourself (which is the goal) is go to a range where you can rent many different types of guns, including Glocks and Berettas, and try them for yourself. Good luck.

"But if they don't exist, how can a man see them?"
"You may think I'm pompous, but actually I'm pedantic... let me explain the difference."
"Carry the battle to them. Don't let them bring it to you. Put them on the defensive and don't ever apologize for anything."
I like them both. However the Glock is lighter, and not as thick, easier to conceal and carry. Also with the Glock you get a consistent trigger pull shot after shot.
The Beretta has a DA first shot and subsequent SA trigger thereafter. Some people don't like this. Like R&G said, it's Ford vs Chevy. I personally like them both for strictly shooting, and suspect though not verified with personal experience, that the Beretta may be capable of better mechanical accuracy.
Ignorance is a long way from stupid, but left unchecked, can get there real fast.
You can't even begin to compare these... Beretta what? Glock what? They make more than 1 gun :/

GLOCK of course.
If they slapped an external safety on it and made it the USA our troops would probably be carrying GLOCKS instead of Berettas. IMO
FWIW: I've never fired a Beretta 92. I'm sure thy are pretty good pistols.

I have both. A fair comparison would be the PX4 Storm to the Glock 19. The obvious differences are found in the Beretta's barrel rotation, its manual decocker/safety and its double action first shot followed up by single action shots. It also has changeable backstraps which my Gen 3 Glock does not. As near as I can tell both guns are dead reliable. I love 'em both but will give the nod to the Glock for its simple efficiency. It's just personal preference and the fact that I shoot better with it. In my opinion the Glock 19 is the most practical semi auto carry piece around.
"That I cannot do."
"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."
