For $300 you give them 8.5 years if monetary support.
At $1000 (or $40 a month) it's 28.5 years of monetary support.
$300 is better than nothing of course.

Just because you pay the $300 for life membership doesn't mean you still can't contribute each year.

There is probably no better time for non-life members or the NRA for this deal! Thanks for the sponsorships!
Back in '94 or '95 when the Brady bunch Slime Bill was freshly drawn they started offering the Lifetime membership to anyone for $500 with a payment plan.
This is pretty much the same idea, but without the payment plan (likely because a lot of people didn't finish making payments over five years).
I want to personally thank everyone who has taken part in this offer, as well as everyone who has seen the importance of supporting the NRA. Whether you agree with them completely or not, it is our strongest voice in Washington and all around the country when our rights are in jeopardy.

New to the forum and almost new to shooting, except for some clay targets as a young teen long ago. Now that I have kids of my own I am grateful for the rights of gun ownership and want to pass that on to my kids too.
Would there be anyone willing to sponsor me as an NRA Lifetime member during their $300 special? Many thanks.
A forum member already offered to sponsor me, so thank you!
Hello,
I'm new to the forum and new to posting here as well, but not new to shooting. I currently have an NRA Life of Duty membership, but think it's time to join as an NRA life member.
Anyone willing to sponsor me? I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you.
How long before the webiste showed your new status? My CC posted yesterday but the website still shows me as an annual member.

it takes several days before it goes to life. Mine changed to an annual membership with a 20 year expiration date. Then about the same time my credit card charge went from a pending charge to a final charge (so maybe 4 or 5 days later), the web site changed and showed a life membership.

Mine showed annual member for a long time (a month or two) but my expiration date changed from 2015 to 2032 or something like that, and eventually it changed to show life member . The insurance levels on the web site also didn't change till the life member was listed. But it did update eventually.

Thanks guys, still showing my 2015 expiration... I'll try and be patient.![]()
