You have to be sponsored by a lifetime member, or be a retired military service member to be eligible. There may be another way to get it, not sure. I'm on hold now trying to get signed up.

Oh boy...where do I jump in........besides the solicitations I get to see their newsletters asking for money like how much more they need before July 27th before our 2A rights are ripped away from us by the UN.......The money suppose to be for ads targeting politicians to speak out against the treaty when there are already enough that say they will not ratify it....So...I ask..what are they doing with the money? I have not seen one ad yet/
But to be fair and balanced they do serve a good role in defending our 2A rights...

I've resisted to this point. I almost joined until the political money PAC compromize, prior to the SC decision. Any Life Members members want to consider sponsoring me. Send me a Private Note.

The only thing I get from the NRA are the magazines I've ordered. I don't even get due calls. I'm more than happy to contribute to their cause. Which is also our cause. The work they put into protecting our 2A rights is priceless, IMO. If I'm constantly seeing articles by anti's bitching about the NRA's power, than I personally feel their doing something right.

If I get a lifetime membership, will they stop mailing me renewals for six months after I just reupped? The only reason I don't get calls is I don't give them my number. I respect the NRA for what it does, but it sure can be annoying with its mailing. And I have called and asked it be stopped.
