Good for them and nice to see the neighbors jump in there. Unfortunately it really could have gone ugly towards the other way. Glad it ended good.

I wish everyone would make the decision to refuse to be a victim. Well done sir, well done.

Seeing this is in the 'People's Republik of Taxachussetts', I'm surprised the owner wasn't charged with assualting a "fine young citizen"...

Luckily for the owner the thug didn't have a gun. Stick vs gun, guess who's going to win.

I just do not understand these store owners---it is obvious that the people they were hitting "are good boys"---just ask their momma, auntie or granny--or even the slimebucket in the whitehouse--the nerve of this store owner "acting stupidly".

I liked what the neighbor with the baseball hat said "He's a good guy and older. We just wasn't going to let it happen".
That is the way to get control back of your neighborhood: "when you attack him, you attack US". I bet BGs give that store a wide berth! More effective than Police too I think, big group of big guys with big hearts watching out for the old merchant and his wife in their area, the America of old, before all the money of all the rich people took over. Wish we had people like this in government, taking a stand, going out for the other guy, straight-talk. It's almost touching to see our values here at least, with the common good people who struggle for a living everyday...

Now the store owner has to get a gun. That would have ended the robbery attempt in a hurry with no physical exertion.

It's great seeing the good guys fighting back & the neighbors helping.

The police should have just let the owner & his friends have a field day with these guys for a while before they took them to the slammer.

This is other side of Mass. - common people without all the money and power of the Big Men. These aren't the leaders, but the leaders could learn a thing or two from people like this.

See, he lacks values like his neighbors. And he and they have such wonderful role models in Government. Too bad....
