Question for those in outside sales in AZ
I work in outside sales. I travel throughout all of Arizona visiting perspective clients at their homes. I usually ccw my Glock 17. So I usually keep it in my laptop bag.
I did have one occurrence where a nosey client leaned over to look in my bag and almost saw my Glock.. Luckily, I quickly switched pockets before he saw it.
Do you carry while onsight with your clients? What are your thoughts on this?

I don't like off body carry, myself. Too many things can go awry, such as this.
Even in triple digit AZ heat there are efficient ways to conceal on your person, so why not do that and eliminate as many potential problems as possible?
Have you contemplated scenarios where you might be separated from your bag?
Do you also leave your weapon in the bag while driving? Is it readily accessible at all times?
No need to answer, I'm just curious if you have reckoned with all the different consequences attached to off body carry.

Zacil,
I keep my laptop bag on the passenger seat at all times. I have contemplated those scenarios and to be honest, I keep the bag on my shoulder the whole time unless I sit. When I sit, I place the bag at my feet. It is never too far from me.
May not be the best plan but given the dri-fit shirts and the size of my Glock, its pretty hard to conceal. I keep it in a Galco iwb holster. Maybe I need to buy a pocket pistol!! :)

You might not need to go pocket-size. I carry a Springfield XD, which has a little shorter slide than the Glock (I think). I got the smaller version and in an IWB holster my XD subcompact disappears where the XD service prints in "Summer wear". Have you considered getting the subcompact version of your Glock? I believe a G26 is the equivalent, The biggest advantage will be that you already have spare magazines, as the 'full size' and 'compact' guns will both use the larger mags.
