I have some business to attend to at the local dmv in WA, can anyone point me in the right direction if it is legal to ccw there? I searched the the RCW and couldnt find anything http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=9.41.300 The dmv's are operated by Department of Licensing, but I'm unsure of where they fall into. Any help would be much appreciated and apologies if this is an obvious no go zone.

DMV is not a court house, Jail, or school. Since DMV is a State of Washington entity, they will have very obvious signage if guns are prohibited, also by law then they would have to provide a lock box.
RCW 9.41.300 is pretty cleare about where you may not carry.

Or you could check with your local authorities.
