Nevada CCW redo advice
Much to my regret I forgot which year my Nevada license expired and let it lapse. It was issued in Nye County but now I live in Idaho and it would be easier to travel to Winnemucca or even Reno since it will probably take two trips, one for a class and the second to get the photos taken.
Anyone have any thoughts or leads on trainers?

Depending on how much you travel, why not just get an Idaho license?

For a nonresident permit, your best bet is to apply to the sheriff of a smaller county. Washoe (Reno area) and Clark (Las Vegas) counties tend to be pretty busy. Clark, for instance, will take every day of the 120 days that NV state law allows for processing a CCW permit, sometimes longer. The smaller counties may process your permit faster. Of course, you can take the CCW course anywhere

Go to WWW.semperfirearms.com and give this guy a call. HE was pretty great and could do the class in a hotel room if you wish. Price was reasonable and we got it all done in one day. Went down to the Washoe County Sherriff the next day and had the applicat9ions done in about an hour. I recieved my permitt in just over 6 weeks (got it last Tuesday :) )
