Grats, have mine also. I'm going to apply for the Florida one later on when I get some money again.

That covers all the states then (well, all that have shall issue).

Congrats. Actually it's pretty funny... my wife had just received hers today too.. so I guess we won't be the only people at Walmart tonight... eating nachos.

Be safe... live in condition yellow.

The FL license is easy to get. You need to request the application and finger print card and the little How To Get Licensed booklet.

You send them a copy of your training certificate. They even accept hunter ed. You send in the completed fingerprint card, passport photo, and application and $117 money order.

I got mine in 1.5 months.

Since you already have a license you may just send them a copy of that. I'm not sure how it works for people that have a license already.

It still has to be validated with a WalMart run for nachos!

    Congratulations and well done!

Thank you for that reminder, I got my own PA non-res a couple weeks ago but havn't made that necessary Wal-Mart validation trip yet!

Now if only WV would allow non-resident licensure. Ohio refuses to grant reciprocity, WV will recognize VA only if one is a VA resident ... so unless and until WV starts granting non-resident licensures, I'm out of luck!

Oh gawd, I just thought of something.

I only did the Wally World run once, and I also have a NH as well as a PA.

Now I need to make two more nacho runs :( .

Florida is the one I got to complement my PA LTCF (I'm a PA resident). As said, it is relatively easy to get--the most painful part is the fee. They have a fairly extensive list of what counts as training, and they even process them relatively promptly.

Okay, they processed mine in about 45 days, and from that sample size, I hereby conclude that Florida is awesome.
