New CC'r in Missouri!
Hello from a proud owner of a new Missouri Concealed Carry License. Just got it issued today. Very smooth process in Missouri:
- CC course: $75 in two evenings or one full day.
.........1st evening, classroom lecture
.........2nd evening, range:
50 rds each semiauto & revolver exercise
20 rds each to qualify (torso sized target at 7 yds)
- Sheriff's office: fingerprint, form, $100 payment
- Approval received 7 days later
- Visit DMV for CC license, $6.50, and back to the office after 30 minutes
Success!

I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Welcome from St. Charles, MO. Where do you shoot?

Great to have another CCer in the state of MO. You may want to check out Steve for some more training. Not in Springfield but the area.
