I often wonder what's the point of my CCP. The only places I ever go where carry is allowed are my own property and the state park behind my house where I walk my dog. See Post #6.

Look up the laws of your state. Despite what others tell you, a bank is NOT federal property (unless it is a federal reserve bank)
It's not listed as a prohibited place in the VA code. I've carried in a bank to conduct business...never a problem.
