Yahoo!!! My Texas CHL finally arrived.
After a lonnng wait, my Texas CHL finally arrived last week. It took every bit of the 60 days provided by law, but it's here. I was born and raised in New Jersey and lived there most of my life. I couldn't get a license there, but I moved to Texas a year ago and now I'm set up. Life just keeps getting better.
I picked up a Kimber Ultra CDP w/CT Laser Grips and a Seecamp LWS 32 and now need to get some leather to house them. I ordered a "pocket" holster from RJ Hedley over in Florida for the Seecamp, but am still undecided on what to get for the Kimber. All suggestions welcome.

Congratulations.
Check out Gary Brommeland's holsters for the Kimber.

Congrats on the CHL. I am still waiting on mine to come in. I know what you mean on the wating. It has been over 60 days for me. I have called twice. There is nothing wrong they are just backed up. They told me to day I should have it in 1 to 2 weeks. I am keeping my fingers crossed. By the way that Kimber you chose is a sweet shooting gun. Trust me on that one!!!!

It tradition bro!
I don’t know who started it but it goes like this…
For your first excursion carrying concealed, you go to WalMart and have some nachos.
You get over the nervousness of being “made” in a crowded place both walking around and sitting (the nacho part).
Plus, I think it’s a National Law or something that your permit isn’t validated till you do it!
