Red face Doctor was mad about weight gain.

I went for my 6 month check up today the Doctor was mad about my 10 pound weight gain. Decided not tell her about my G26 and spare mag that was on my hip that wasn't there the last time I got weighed. Haha can't blame it all the gun though. I didn't tell her that I was carrying even though it was legal to do so at that clinic.

You should have placed all your gear on the table and said, "Well, let's try it again."

Just be glad you weren't carrying a 1911!

I thought the same thing about sudden weight gain the second to the last time I went for my 3 - month checkup. This last time I noticed a no firearms sign so that won't be a factor any more n my scale busting. I had given it some thought about changing docs (I have 2 of them at this clinic) but my gun-toting buddy goes to the next closest one & they're also posted so I guess my gun stays in the car. I hated to think of changing docs because one of them saved my life in an emergency cardiac event & the GP saved my life by diagnosing me with diabetes & a bulging disc, lol. I know both of them are 2nd Amendment friendly. When I moaned about the gunbuster sign the cardiologist said " Yeah, that's a pisser, ain't it?" & the GP nodded his head.

Had my yearly EKG a few months ago. Nurse did all the work and discovered my BUG on my ankle. "That's a nice one" she told me.

Doc came in after he read the results and reviewed my chart. "You've put on some weight since last year".
"Nope", says I, "they didn't allow for the .45 in my pants, and extra magazine on my belt and the .380 on my ankle. I weigh the same as last year."
"Hmmmm. You been watching what you eat?"
"Yep, until it gets in my mouth... then I can't see it anymore."
    "Been exercising?"
    "Nope".
"Well, what ever you're doing, keep it up... your test was great...see you next year."

And for this I pay good money?????

This sounds like when I go to Weight Watchers. I bought a "Scottie Vest" Jacket. It has about 20 load bearing pockets and I can carry all my Gear in it. I take the Jacket off when I weigh in. I get some funny looks carrying a Jacket all the time but, Know one Knows a thing.

That's pretty funny, maybe there's a use for a KT P32 after all. No offense to the KT, as I want one.

I love when the nurse tells me to take off my shoes before weighing me and then weighs me while I'm still fully clothed and carrying all my gear, including my Glock 30, spare mag, leatherman, keys, phone, and wallet.

Knowing the Doctor and staff helps, I just tell them my weight from the morning.

I ran into that once. Now I just leave the primary and just get weighed in with my BUG. (P32).
