48 Hours Documentary (LCP .380)
This seems to be an old thread, so I'm not sure if anyone will read this. I was bored on a Sunday a few weeks back and watched 2 episodes of 48 Hours back to back. Both stories featured a Ruger LCP. The first one was a home invasion. The perp shot the home owner three times and he died on the scene. The next story was a jealous husband confronting the guy screwing his wife in a shoe store parking lot. He shot the boyfriend once in the chest and the guy died on the scene. The LCP is as deadly as a gun as a Glock 9mm full size. It is what I would call a "10 foot gun" due to the short barrel and accuracy. For a self defense handgun, this will get the job done, no problem. Plus with it's small size and ability to put it anywhere on your body it is the #1 choice. I've had one for several years and use it as a summer carry. I've shot it at the range and have put probably 50-75 rounds through it. Zero malfunction. I would recommend this gun to anyone. Make sure you get some Hornady Critical Defense .380 rounds....these feed well because of the design of the bullet and have great expansion and penetration. Hope this is what your looking for.
Deadly force encounters involving the Ruger LCP
I like my Ruger LCP . If I ever need to engage it in a SITUATION. I'll have my fingers crossed. I trust my LCP to go bang when I pull the trigger, but not really sure of what the bullet will actually do ?
