At the risk of posting another holster advice thread .... HK .45 USP-C

Does anyone on here have any experience with a nice leather rig for an HK .45 USP-C?

I'd like to get a holster for it, and can carry it in a Remora in my cargo pants pocket, but I'd really like to get a nice rig to carry this around.

Any one have any personal experience with a good holster -- a good leather one, my Remora is a good one -- and one of these HK's? I'd appreciate your feedback.

    Thanks.

Just do what everybody else does. Buy a drawer full and use the one you feel like using at any given time. That way we cut down on the "Which holster is best?" threads, at least to a dull roar maybe.

In fact, let me go ahead and answer the top 5 questions asked on internet gun sites:

Answers to the Top Five Questions Asked on Internet Gun Sites:

    Q: What's the best holster?
A: The one holding your gun in close proximity to your body.

Q: What the best handgun for home defense?
A: The one that will get you safely to your shotgun.

Q: What's the best weapon for home defense?
    A: See previous A.

Q: What's the best ammo for my gun?
A: The one spiralling (or scattering) downrange toward your target.

Q: What's the best brand of gun?
A: The one I currently own the most stock in.

    Any (more) questions?

    Stay simple

Big Macque; I carry a USPc40 all the time. I believe your .45 is larger, but they are the same basic shape. I have a couple holsters, both strong side - behind the hip type. One is made by Aker and the other by Gould & Goodrich; they are functionally the same. One holster is black and one brown, I wear the holster that best blends into the rest of the clothing I wear. I also avoid the nylon sort of 'loose bag' holsters. I want my sidearm to be right where I left it; not to mention loose holsters wear the finish more.

I normally carry under a sportcoat or sweater vest. I also have a iwb type holster I can mount under a polo type shirt in the appendix area.

Most of us have a box full of holsters we've worn once or twice and decided they don't work. Usually, simpler is better. But do not buy cheap. The stitching comes loose and the holster fails to hold the sidearm properly.

Thanks for the advice archie, I appreciate it.

I do have a drawer full of holsters, just nothing for this particular gun and I was hoping to avoid some of the hit or miss of buying one -- especially since I'm looking for a nice one, not just a run of the mill. I do carry this with the Remora in my cargo pockets, but was looking to step up for other ocaissions.

I've had luck with UBG and RGrizzle, in fact really like both of their holsters, between the two of them I have three holsters for two different guns. Just thought I'd ask about this gun specifically.

    Thanks again.

    Another vote for Pure Kustom.
