It takes ALOT of pressure (just read 10 lbs) to pull my Ruger revolver's trigger, so I feel okay with keeping it fully loaded. However, due to it's bulk and weight, I usually keep it as my primary home defense weapon vs. concealed. It's nice and cozy and ready to use, if needed, in its leather Galco holster. Hope this helps.

I was just curious. I carry a revolver daily and never even considered not fully loading it. I carry single action revolver and it must be cocked, trigger pulled and trigger held in order to shoot.
English is my second language, I have been told my use of it is harsh, apologies if this is the matter.
You know what stops a bad guy with a gun? A good guy with a gun
It comes down to what kind of revolver you plan on or already are carrying... like others have said, it depends on the type of action and year of manufacturer of the gun.
