Watch the evening news. How many robbery/assaults were by thugs wearing "hoodies"? Lots. Today it is almost a criminal uniform. I agree with his right to refuse entry to anyone he chooses. Everyone who wears one is not a criminal. But they do raise red flags for some of us when other signs of questionable behavior are present.
I shoot with a pistol and a Canon. We must all hang together amigos, or we will all hang separately. NRA life member.

I'm guessing it's not about wearing a garment that has a hood but more so about wearing the hood in a manner that prevents ones face from being seen.

If we won't stand for no guns signs, we shouldn't stand for signs banning an innocent piece of clothing.
Now, requesting all hoods be in the down and locked position is equivalent to asking that all guns remain holstered.

Even if the owner and customer had been armed, trying to draw against someone with a gun already out isn't a winning proposition in most cases.

This I can agree with. Take off the hood. Hang around Ohio State and you will see everyone wears Ohio State hoodies. This is just how it is. I don't think all of us are criminals. Stores around here are cold in the winter time. You have to stay warm. I just got a hoodie for my 92 year old friend. I am sure she isn't a criminal and won't take the hood off when she goes into a store because she gets cold easily. They have no need to fear her. I hate to take the hood off because my hair is all messed up from the hood lol.

Exactly. Stereotypes don't just fall out of the sky. They exist because there's enough of a pattern there to form a presumption. It's a case of a few bad apples ruining the whole crop. If the owner doesn't feel safe allowing anyone wearing a hood into his store, he has every right to refuse entrance.

Sounds like you can wear a "hoodie" you just need to pull the hood down while in the store,you got a problem with it then take yourself and your hoodie somewhere else

Exactly! It just means to take down the hood, not that you're not allowed in if you have a coat, jacket, or sweatshirt with a hood attached. Geez.
Glad the long tooth is alright, sucks about the brain cancer. Based on the comments, there seems to be a lot of problems not being addressed in the general area.
I found that one interesting, especially if there's any truth to it since one of them were reportedly a juvenile.The gun shop an upstanding citizen, AH! He sells guns to the same people who robbed him, and sold the gun to the idiot in Waterloo that shot the Waterloo officer in the face last winter. He may publicly be an upstanding guy, but ask the street cops who really know what's going on. These four guys had been in his store and bought guns from him before.
