Gun Store Owner Robbed & Beaten
Now this has to take the cake.
Award to the BG for having the biggest pair I ever heard of. A gun store? Are you kidding me.
This gun store is less than 10 miles from me.
The owner now has a sign on his door "No Hoodies in store"

At least he is alive, and they caught 2 of 3 perps.
He might want to consider always having another 'armed' person in his establishment when doing business. That is cheap insurance.

You're right there. I have never been in a gun store in Florida that didn't have several staff who were open carrying.

Aggravated robbery, attempted murder (shots), fleeing arrest. All by age 21. Kiss your lives goodbye, scumbags. Bring some knee pads ... you're gonna need 'em.

I've seen this a lot, especially back in the UK. So the hoodies are now to blame for criminal behavior? Makes about as much sense as blaming the gun in a shooting.

IMO, it seems to me that it's little different than disallowing backpacks in a store. In the case of a hoodie, it's a built-in mask of sorts, one that can hide faces from cameras, visible apparent intent from onlookers. It's hardly blaming the hoodie for the crime. Not much different than signage that states criminals not wanted (ie, "prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law" type signs).

So I'm not allowed to wear my winter coat into his store because it has a hood?
And so what if I do wear a hoodie? Doesn't mean I'm going to use it's "built in mask" for nefarious purposes any more than I'm going to shoot up a supermarket just because I'm carrying my pistol when I go for groceries.
I'm sorry the guy had this happen to him, but these "no hoodies" signs are beyond rediculous.

Maybe they can have a stack of dixie cups so I can deposit some DNA for them while I wait in line.

Very glad the owner is going to be ok. One would think a gun shop is the last place to worry. I would think many in there are armed. In the winter time I wear a hoodie to the range lol.
