Congratulations to the wife. Now, make sure she gets the training necessary to go along with the responsibility she's chosen...THAT is YOUR responsibility!!!

Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Congratulations to her! This is a huge step in becoming responsible for her own safety, which ultimately every citizen is anyway. Now both of you can train and practice together. The family that trains together stays together!

Welcome to the world of those who can protect their self. Please make sure she practices often and gets the training she needs to be safe and accurate.

Now you're a shooting team. My wife and I discuss shooting scenarios as part of our "training".

Thanks all......it was quite a surprise when she said she wanted not only her own personal pistol but that she wanted a CCW too, we've been going out and letting her get used to fire it and will sign her up for classes very soon.

Great choice, I also carry a Bersa Thunder 380 when I leave the house. Welcome to the club.
