They have 45 days from the day they received your application to process and issue the license, and you are still within that window.
That does seem a bit long, however, Cuyahoga County is not known for being especially pro-CHL.

I've always heard that Cuyahoga County will take the full allotted time to issue the license. My brother in law went through Summit County and took him roughly two weeks. I went through Wayne County and had it in two days!
Yup. Wayne County - 2 days! The deputy was very helpful! Recommended I go for Utah CC also to get the other states I wanted less expensively. I really appreciated the advice.
I know Whose I am. I know where I'm going. I know the job I'm to do while I'm here. I am an ambassador. This is not my home.

Thanks guys.. yeah i should've went somewhere elsewhere
Now you have some time to read posts on this site while waiting for your CCW. Use the time wisely. Get to the range & shoot a few boxes of ammo assuming that you have a handgun. If you don't now you can do lots of research on guns & maybe even get to fire a few different ones to help you decide. Welcome aboard!
